I love the plug for CSA’s! It does seem that they are hugely more popular this year. My parent’s CSA is already sold out, and in past years they’ve had share’s available through June. Is the consciousness of the American public finally changing? Are we in the middle of a huge (positive) shift)? Maybe it’s the fact that there is significant information/education about the need to reduce fossil fuel usage (and the huge amounts of fossil fuels that are spent on food transportation) and more info as well on the overwhelming health benefits of fresh local food…what do you think is causing it? Anyway, it’s exciting for sure. Makes me hopeful for the future!
